The first version of GuardSource was a scheduling board and a patrol scanner, built to solve two problems that cost the business money every single week: posts going uncovered without anyone noticing until a client called, and patrol rounds that could not be proven after the fact. Once those two problems were visible in real time, everything downstream — payroll accuracy, invoicing, client retention — improved with them.

Other operators asked to use it. That demand turned an internal tool into a product, and the product into a platform covering the full lifecycle of a guarding contract: bidding, staffing, execution, evidence, billing and review. We still build the same way we did in that first control room — close to the officers, close to the schedule, and measured on whether the shift actually got covered.
