Terms of Service

Agreement

These terms govern your use of GuardSource, provided by GuardResourceOne. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.

Subscriptions and trials

• Plans are sold per active officer, billed monthly or annually in advance, and renew automatically until cancelled.
• Free trials run for 30 days. Configuration made during a trial carries into a paid account.
• Upgrades and downgrades take effect immediately and are prorated against the current billing period.
• Cancellation stops the next renewal; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• Fees are exclusive of tax. Where we are required to collect tax, it is added at checkout.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the platform to break the law, harass anyone, or track individuals outside a legitimate employment or security context.
• Do not attempt to breach, load-test, reverse engineer or circumvent access controls without our written permission.
• Do not resell, sublicense or white-label the platform without a written reseller agreement.
• You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the data you upload and for the conduct of your users.

Your data

You keep all rights in the data you put into the platform. We process it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum. We may use aggregated, de-identified statistics that cannot identify you or any individual to improve the product.

Availability and support

We target 99.9% monthly availability excluding scheduled maintenance, which we announce in advance and run outside peak hours where possible. Support is available by email to all plans; response targets and any service credits for enterprise plans are set out in the order form.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend an account for non-payment after notice, or immediately where use threatens the security or integrity of the platform. You may close your account at any time. On termination we make your data available for export for 30 days, then delete it.

Warranties and liability

The platform is provided on an "as is" basis except as expressly stated here. To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, and each party's total liability is capped at the fees paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; material changes are announced at least 30 days before they take effect and apply from your next renewal. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules.
